NCHS Education Support Specialist/Education Support Personnel

Conduct 7.0 hours of education support in the FLS classroom and 0.5 hours as education support personnel, assisting certified staff with instructional activities for students with behavioral, academic, and social needs. Adapt learning processes for diverse functional abilities, monitor students in classrooms and school-wide activities, and respond to emergency situations or conflicts. Provide special health care, implement behavioral plans, and maintain instructional materials and student records. Transport students as directed and attend requested meetings. High school diploma or GED required; highly qualified status preferred.
