Job Summary
Perform rigging activities for cranes and hoisting equipment on construction projects. Candidates are responsible for selecting cables, ropes, and other rigging tools based on load specifications and providing directions to crane operators for safe lifting. Responsibilities also include setting up braces, rigging hoisting equipment, and splicing ropes and cables. Candidates must hold an NCCER Advance Rigging Certification and possess significant industry experience. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential.
Required Qualifications
- NCCER Advance Rigging Certification Required
- Minimum of four (4) years industry related experience
- Minimum one (1) year in craft
- Ability to perform work within precise limits or standards of accuracy
- Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications
- Ability to visualize objects in three dimensions from flat drawings
- Ability to follow and communicate instructions, both verbally and written
