Job Summary
Candidates for the NCCER Rigger position must perform rigging activities for setting up cranes and hoisting equipment and materials on construction projects. Responsibilities include selecting and attaching rigging equipment, directing crane operators for safety, setting up and maintaining hoisting equipment, and splicing ropes and cables. Preference will be given to candidates with at least four years of industry-related experience, including one year in a specific craft discipline. Strong communication skills and the ability to interpret technical specifications are essential.
