NCCER Rigger (Advanced)

Job Summary
The Advanced Rigger is responsible for the preparation, installation, and operation of rigging equipment such as slings, chains, and hoists. Duties include inspecting work sites for obstructions, ensuring proper operation of rigging gear, interpreting lift plans, and identifying safety hazards. Candidates should have significant experience in maintenance, NCCER certification, and strong communication skills. Physical requirements include standing, walking, and lifting, with a focus on safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of mechanical, industrial or refinery maintenance experience
- NCCER Advanced Rigger Certification
- Successful completion of Company’s Safety training and Client/Site specific training
- Active status in DISA drug testing program
- Ability to determine lift weights from drawings and specifications
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
- Knowledge of crane hand signals
- Ability to measure and assess plumbness, levelness, alignment
