Job Summary
Develop next-generation NC3 strategic deterrence systems as a member of a cross-functional team. Leverage expertise in Kubernetes, Linux, and distributed systems to drive development within CI/CD pipelines. Troubleshoot networking infrastructure and configure virtualization environments while applying Agile methodologies to solve complex engineering challenges. Provide technical leadership and foster collaborative problem-solving in a research-oriented defense environment. Join a global team of 12,000 professionals dedicated to national security with an on-site location in Dedham, MA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics field
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Master's degree
- 6 months relevant experience
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance
- U.S. Government security investigation eligibility
- Eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- U.S. citizenship
Desired Qualifications

- Familiarity with Linux
- Familiarity with DevOps-based development and deployment of systems from CI/CD pipelines
- Familiar with virtualization and/or containerization (Hypervisors, Kubernetes/workload orchestration, etc.)
- Networking skills - either able to describe networking concepts and/or have experience configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches, etc.
- Experience with Agile or other methodologies
- Strong understanding of software development process, as well as software engineering concepts, principles, and theories
- Creative thinker capable of applying new information quickly to solve challenging problems
- Comfortable providing technical leadership
