Job Summary
Support programming projects utilizing various machine tools, controls, and programming software by planning, creating, developing, and implementing programs and associated processes. Own programs through implementation into production and provide necessary shop support throughout the development and production cycle. Utilize process monitoring software and graphic programming tools including UGNX and Vericut, while maintaining the ability to adapt to new analytical tools. This onsite role at Pratt & Whitney involves 2nd or weekend night shift work with a shift differential.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field
- Minimum of five years of experience in manufacturing engineering
- demonstrated experience with graphic programming, part modeling and program simulation software, including UGNX and Vericut
- ability to learn and adapt to new programming software, code and analytical tools
- Strong technical, communication, interpersonal, time management, presentation, and organizational skills
- demonstrated experience with planning, creating, developing and implementing the programs and associated processes
- ability to support programming projects utilizing various machine tools, controls and programming software
- own programs through implementation into production
- provide necessary shop support through the development and production cycle
- 2nd Shift / Weekend Night Shift availability
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher education
- 3+ years of related experience (in lieu of or alongside education)
- Experience with Rotating Hardware, Airfoils and continuous improvement projects
