Job Summary
NC Programmer for Pratt & Whitney CFBC programming team. Role involves programming airfoils, roots, and spindles from alloys (Inconel, Titanium, Aluminum) and bringing new capital equipment into production. Responsibilities include planning, creating, developing and implementing NC programs; owning programs through production; providing shop support; participating in New Product Introduction (NPI) projects; collaborating with an NC programming team to apply advanced technology; and pursuing process improvements to reduce lead time, costs, and improve quality. Requires NX and Vericut experience, part modeling and program simulation, and ability to use process monitoring software. Minimum education/experience: Master's with 1+ year, Bachelor's with 2+ years, Associate with 4+ years, or 6+ years in absence of a degree; U.S. citizenship required. Required Qualifications
- Master's degree with 1+ year experience in engineering/aerospace/manufacturing/aviation OR Bachelor's degree with 2+ years OR Associate's degree with 4+ years OR 6+ years in absence of a degree; proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with graphic programming, part modeling and program simulation software (NX and Vericut); ability to utilize process monitoring software; experience in programming airfoils, roots, and/or spindles in alloys (Inconel, Titanium, Aluminum); familiarity with NPIs and collaboration within NC programming teams
