Job Summary
Set up and operate NC machines to manufacture parts according to technical drawings and CAD data; interpret blueprints and CAD files to guide production; monitor machine performance, adjust settings for accuracy, and inspect finished parts with precision measuring tools to ensure quality; perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting; collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve issues and improve processes; maintain a clean, safe work area and uphold company values while supporting a new die plant facility in Windsor, Ontario.
Required Qualifications
- Experience operating NC machines in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files
- Solid understanding of machine controls and basic programming (e.g., G-code)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight tolerances
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Willingness to work either day or afternoon shift
