Job Summary
On-site interpreters in Charlotte, NC, plus remote VRI/OPI opportunities nationwide, for Haitian Creole (French Creole) and English. Responsibilities include real-time interpretation, clear professional communication, maintaining confidentiality and HIPAA compliance, and managing a flexible schedule. Services offered on-site, via video (VRI), or by phone (OPI). Requires bilingual capability, tech proficiency, and reliable transportation. Open to contractors with a strong emphasis on accuracy, ethics, punctuality, and high-quality interpretation.
Required Qualifications
- Fully bilingual, fluent in Haitian Creole (French Creole) and English
- Technologically proficient (familiar with Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, etc.)
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred
- Eligible to work in the U.S. (Green Card or higher)
- Clean driving record, valid driver’s insurance, and reliable transportation
