Job Summary
NBU Manufacturing Test Engineer needed to design tools to automate product definitions, data collection, test case execution, and results analysis for NVIDIA’s manufacturing environments. The role involves driving NBU diagnosis and issue analysis at the product level across hardware, software, and operations teams, qualifying equipment/fixtures used in MFG, and building data automation and tooling. Collaboration with CM to realize NBU product test automation, and applying cutting-edge techniques in deep learning, graphs, machine learning, and data analytics to deploy AI for production automation. Responsibilities include assisting with NBU MFG debug tooling for NPI-SW teams, setting up and following up on ICT/FCT test setups and issues, and contributing to test plans and diagnostic documents. Strong emphasis on cross-team collaboration, lab-based debugging at board level, and contributing to automated test workflows for NVIDIA manufacturing. Location: Hanoi, Vietnam. The role requires a BS/MS in relevant engineering fields, 5+ years of experience, hands-on lab tool use, and proficiency with low-level software and testing practices.
Required Qualifications
- BS or MS in EE, CS, Automatic Control, or Systems Engineering
- 5+ years of related experience
- Experience with MCU/FPGA program/debug
- Hands-on experience with lab tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters)
- Deep knowledge of low-level software drivers and kernel
- Ability to debug at board level and use probing hardware
- Self-motivated and able to work across different teams
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills
- Experience with test plan, failure processing, and test program development
- Experience with system-level diagnostic tests and understanding of test purposes
- Familiarity with x86 assembly, PC architecture, and power management (preferred)
- Programming in VB, Shell, Java, Perl, Python (preferred)
- Experience with NC or NPI-SW related tooling (preferred)
- Strong debugging and diagnostics capabilities
