Job Summary
Provide administrative support in a fast-paced NEMT office. Responsibilities include answering and directing incoming phone calls, processing paperwork and office records, accurate data entry and database maintenance, assisting with billing and invoicing, coordinating scheduling activities, and offering friendly customer service. Requires professional, detail-oriented, reliable performance, and the ability to handle multiple tasks. Requires a MA driver’s license with a clean driving record, ability to drive a full-size van/minivan/SUV, CPR certification, and completion of pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Massachusetts Driver’s license and provide a current DMV printout
- Pass a mandatory pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
- Pass a mandatory criminal background test
- CPR certification
- Exceed minimum age requirement of 18 years
- Must comprehend and comply with the NEMT Transportation Employee Handbook and performance standards
- Possess strong proficiency with email and spreadsheets
- Strong telephone and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods
- Clean driving record
- Ability to drive a full-size van, midsize minivan, and SUV
- Preferred experience in the Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) industry, but not required
