Job Summary
Sales intern assists NBC Telemundo Connecticut’s sales team by supporting multiplatform campaigns and strategies to drive advertising revenue. Responsibilities include creating PowerPoint presentations on business trends, assisting in pipeline management (identifying zero-share and prospective business), aiding the digital sales planner across pre- and post-sale processes (media plans, assets, campaign optimization), participating in brainstorming sessions to craft creative advertiser solutions, generating ideas for new revenue sources aligned with current events and market trends, ensuring customer satisfaction in pre- and post-sales service, coordinating cross-platform campaign delivery, navigating multiple platforms (digital, web research, mobile, social, sports, television, sponsorships), supporting Salesforce account activity, assisting the sales marketing team on client campaigns, and providing general administrative support. Qualifications emphasize strong communication, project management, proficiency with PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, and optional Photoshop/Final Cut Pro skills; bilingual Spanish/English is preferred. Eligible candidates must be enrolled in an accredited degree program and be able to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship; in-person work at the West Hartford, CT station is required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program during the length of the program
- Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits)
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
