Job Summary
Translate maritime concepts into manuals, technical documents, and training materials. Conduct interviews and technical briefings with maritime personnel and subject matter experts to collect accurate information; produce and maintain manuals, training guides, and policy documents aligned with maritime standards and regulatory requirements; edit for clarity, readability, and consistency; evaluate communications and recommend improvements; develop training materials to support operational readiness and regulatory compliance; ensure technical accuracy and completeness of all deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering, scientific, business, or technical discipline
- Top Secret security clearance or higher
- Three years of experience in collaborating with technical customers to document complex concepts; editing and proofreading; providing analysis and recommendations for communications; developing written products based on information from stakeholders
