Job Summary
Navy Curriculum Developer serves as an Instructional Coordinator to support the NSSMS program by assisting with planning, analysis, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of MP&T technical products and services aimed at sustaining and enhancing fleet readiness. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining MP&T documentation (MERs, JDTA), conducting Training Front End Analysis (FEA) and NAVEDTRA-guided training materials, updating JQR/PQS and using AIM I/II/LOM to create/revise lesson plans, trainee guides, and testing materials (PTAG/KTAG), executing the NETC end-to-end PADDIE-M process, reviewing SCDs/ECPs for impact on curriculum, organizing TIMs, coordinating with Fleet and Training Commands, reviewing IMI/ICW/VR/AR modules for technical fit, and delivering programmatic reporting and weekly highlights to government personnel. Further duties include collaboration with stakeholders on training document revision and ensuring compliance with NAVEDTRA guidance and Navy Training Systems policies.
Required Qualifications
- Prior Navy experience with Nato Sea Sparrow Missile System (NSSMS)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance level Secret
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, Project, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of Navy Training Systems, Policies, and Procedures
- Demonstrated willingness to learn quickly and perform in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment
- Demonstrated ability to respond quickly to evolving customer requirements and produce positive results
