Job Summary

Coordinate and administer patient care treatment regimens, research components, and program outreach for cancer patients. Provide personalized clinical care, advocate for whole-person health integration, and tailor services to unique wellness needs. Conduct health screenings, deliver patient education, and offer appropriate referrals while cultivating relationships with patients, families, physician partners, and community stakeholders. Manage treatment regimens and collect data on contacts and referrals as outlined by the department manager. Maintain core values and hospital mission standards throughout all interactions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • California Registered Nurse License
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN), Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse (AOCN), Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner (AOCNP), Advanced Oncology Certified Clinical Nurse Specialist (AOCNS), Certified Breast Care Nurse (CBCN), or NCBC – Breast Patient Navigator Certification (or successful completion of one of these certifications within 1 year of hire)
  • Current ONS chemotherapy administration card
  • Five (5) or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a health care setting
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in oncology nursing

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Nursing
