Job Summary
Quality Assurance across MBSE and related domains to support the Royal Canadian Navy program. Responsibilities include defining and enforcing standard Systems Engineering modelling templates and style guides (ISO/IEC 15288:2015, ISO 9001:2015, NASA-SP/6015), supporting lifecycle reviews, contributing to systems design, and performing Verification, Validation and Accreditation of models. Includes Configuration Management oversight, metrics development, and lifecycle management for MBSE artifacts; data capture and analysis within MBSE environment; reviewing subcontractor materials; supporting requirements decomposition, traceability, and verification processes. Liaison with DND customers and suppliers, maintaining positive, collaborative relationships, and upholding safety culture. Must be eligible for Government of Canada security clearance and possess post-secondary education in relevant fields or equivalent experience; desirable knowledge of ISO standards (9001, 10007), MBSE frameworks (UML, SysML, DODAF, DNDAF, UAF), and OOSEM with Cameo EA.
Required Qualifications
- Must obtain Government of Canada security clearance (Canadian citizenship and minimum 10 years of continuous residence in Canada)
- Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Management, or equivalent experience
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English with ability to communicate at all levels (in-person and electronically) and draft reports and technical correspondence
