Job Summary
Develop contingency plans through drafting, wargaming, and management while assisting clients in identifying force and capability gaps. Analyze operational response options, develop mission command orders, and ensure plans align with higher headquarters direction. Leverage expertise in Deliberate and Crisis Action planning to solve complex problems for Navy clients alongside thought leaders in consulting and analytics. Requires 15+ years of military or government experience, TS/SCI clearance, and Master's degree. Full-time role with up to 25% travel.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience with the military or government, including contract support to military commands
- 10+ years of experience supporting Joint or Navy operations in support of Echelon III or higher headquarters staff
- 10+ years of experience with Navy or Joint Operational Planning
- 10+ years of experience conducting operational analysis to identify gaps in force capabilities or developing vulnerability and gap assessments
- Knowledge of the Joint Planning and Execution Process, Operational Design, and Joint Exercise Life Cycle process
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- TS/SCI clearance
- Master's degree
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with operational planning on a Combatant Command staff
- Experience managing an Operational Plans Element or Maritime Operations Center
- Experience leading Operational Planning Teams
- Experience leading Crisis Action Planning teams
- Completion of JPME II
