Job Summary
Principal Consultant with 8+ years of experience leading nature-related DIRO assessments and advising on TNFD-aligned frameworks, ESRS E4, CSRD, EUDR, and SBTN targets. Responsible for technical leadership, delivering DIRO and footprinting workstreams, translating complex nature-risk insights into actionable business strategies, and leading client engagements across sectors. Drives business development for opportunities in TNFD, ESRS/CSRD, EUDR, SBTN, and nature strategy; mentors consultants and develops reusable assets, templates, and trainings. Strong with GIS/data analytics, cross-functional delivery, and global client collaboration; English fluency is required and Spanish is advantageous. Roles emphasize governance, KPIs, monitoring frameworks, and the integration of nature considerations into enterprise risk management and strategic decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years experience in nature, biodiversity, natural capital, or ecosystem services
- TNFD LEAP experience
- ESRS E4 knowledge
- CSRD/double materiality understanding
- SBTN target-setting experience
- EUDR familiarity
- GIS/tools proficiency (ArcGIS, QGIS)
- advanced Excel modeling
- multinational client delivery experience
- fluency in English (written and verbal)
- Spanish is a plus
- ability to mentor and train teams
