Nature Principal Consultant

Lead and deliver nature-related DIRO assessments and TNFD-aligned analyses, shaping client strategies and action plans. Provide technical leadership on ESRS E4 (Biodiversity & Ecosystems) to support CSRD disclosures, including double materiality, metrics, and transition plans. Guide SBTN target setting, baselining, and alignment with no-conversion targets for natural ecosystems and freshwater. Oversee EUDR interpretation, due diligence systems, traceability, geolocation, and risk assessments. Translate technical findings into executive-ready insights and deliver TNFD-aligned reports and ESRS disclosures. Drive business development and client relationships, mentor consultants, develop reusable assets, and contribute to methodology evolution. Strong command of TNFD, ESRS/CSRD, EUDR, SBTN, GIS tools (ArcGIS/QGIS), and data-driven risk signaling. Fluency in English is required for client delivery; Spanish is a distinct advantage. Ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder projects across sectors (e.g., FMCG, retail, agriculture, finance) and to articulate the business case for nature-related risk management and opportunity realization. This role operates in a hybrid environment based in Rome, Italy, with global impact and collaboration across time zones.
