Job Summary
Nature Principal Consultant role leading strategic engagements on nature-related risks and opportunities. Provide technical leadership on DIRO assessments using TNFD-aligned methodologies; support ESRS E4/Biodiversity & Ecosystems and CSRD disclosures including double materiality and transition plans; guide SBTN target setting; lead EUDR compliance implementation; oversee delivery of DIRO, footprinting, baselining, and integration of nature into enterprise risk and disclosures. Develop and refine methodologies/tools for TNFD alignment, EUDR/ESRS compliance; create TNFD-aligned reports and executive insights; mentor consultants; lead client proposals for EUDR, TNFD, SBTN, ESRS/CSRD; train teams and contribute to market positioning; collaborate with digital teams to scale offerings; build senior-level client relationships and drive business development. English mandatory; Spanish advantageous; capable of working in a hybrid Stockholm-based setting.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in nature, biodiversity, natural capital, or ecosystem services
- Demonstrated expertise in nature-related DIRO assessments with TNFD alignment
- Strong knowledge of ESRS E4 (Biodiversity & Ecosystems) and CSRD requirements including double materiality
- Experience with SBTN target-setting or equivalent science-based approaches
- Familiarity with EUDR regulations and implementation needs (due diligence systems, traceability, geolocation, risk assessments)
- Proven ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder projects and deliver high-quality outputs
- Proficiency with GIS and geospatial tools (ArcGIS, QGIS) and Excel-based modeling
- Ability to translate technical findings into strategic, business-relevant insights
- Experience with multinational clients across sectors (FMCG, retail, agriculture, finance)
- Fluency in English required; Spanish is a distinct advantage
- Strong project leadership, client advisory, and business development skills
- Capability to develop TNFD-aligned reports, ESRS disclosures, and executive-ready insights
- Mentoring and training capabilities on TNFD, SBTN, ESRS, EUDR, DIRO methodologies
- Ability to develop reusable assets, templates, and scale delivery globally
