Job Summary
Create a nurturing, nature-based environment where one-year-olds safely explore independence through outdoor discovery and hands-on play. Build strong relationships with toddlers and families while supporting emotional regulation, language development, and key milestones like walking and self-help skills. Plan developmentally appropriate experiences aligned with Vermont Early Learning Standards, observing and documenting each child's growth to guide curriculum. Collaborate with co-teachers and leadership to maintain a reflective, supportive workplace culture.
Required Qualifications
- 21 ECE Credits
- CPR Certification
Desired Qualifications
- Education in Early Childhood Education, Environmental Education or a related field preferred
- Early Childhood Education: 1 year (Preferred)
- Experience working with toddlers or young children
- A passion for nature-based learning and child-led exploration
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
