Job Summary
Natural Resources/Forestry high school teacher needed to deliver a certified forestry-centered curriculum. Plan and present a program of study for the Forestry/Natural Resources pathway, teach with an emphasis on contextual learning and integrated forest resource management, and instruct on operating small machines (e.g., chainsaws). Maintain accurate records, communicate with parents and the community, and supervise/coach the FNRL Chapter; participate in budget planning and school activities. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, valid Oregon teaching license, and appropriate CTE endorsements; CDL may be required for instructional duties. Coaching stipend available for the forestry team; duties include supervision, competition coaching, and professional collaboration with staff. Salary is salary to be determined by the district with standard exempt status.
