Natural Gas Scheduler - Southeast

Job Summary
Manage daily natural gas scheduling activities across Southeast Region LDCs and interstate pipelines, handling nominations, allocations, balancing, and imbalance resolution. Balance gas supply, transportation, and customer usage per pipeline and LDC tariff requirements to minimize operational risk. Monitor consumption and flow activity using internal and external systems to investigate and resolve discrepancies including nomination variances and transportation constraints. Validate scheduling data for accuracy and compliance while partnering with Settlements and Commercial teams to reconcile invoices and support month-end settlements. Participate in rotational weekend and holiday coverage to ensure continuous operations. Apply knowledge of interstate and LDC tariffs to daily activities while driving process improvements and standardization efforts within the Southeast Gas Operations team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
- Knowledge of natural gas scheduling or similar commodity operations
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
