Job Summary
Install and replace natural gas meters, regulators, and related equipment while performing maintenance, integrity tests, and relight procedures. Conduct external surface inspections for corrosion, perform leak surveys using a combustible gas indicator, and inspect regulator vents. Turn off and lock meters as necessary, paint piping when required, and report accurate results via mobile applications. Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes customer experience, resolves conflicts, and maintains ethical conduct and safety compliance. Work outdoors in changing weather conditions, standing for long periods, lifting up to 30 pounds, and climbing ladders. Requires a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and 2-5 years of construction or mechanical experience. Compensation is $23-27/hr based on experience with a company vehicle included.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2-5 + years construction experience or mechanical experience
- Must possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Ability to climb up and down ladders
- Ability to perform moderate physical activity including somewhat strenuous daily activities
- Ambulatory across uneven surfaces
- Ability to frequently bend at knees and waist
- Ability to exchange accurate information with co-workers and clients
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 10-30 or HAZWOPER training
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Excel and Adobe Acrobat
- Proficient with Microsoft Windows (browser)
