Job Summary
Natural Gas Apprentice at Daphne Utilities performs installation, maintenance, and inspection of natural gas utility lines, meters, and related equipment. Responsibilities include locating utility services from drawings/maps, installing/replacing meters and valve boxes, pressurizing meters, conducting leak surveys, maintaining records and maps, performing tests and readings, operating and maintaining equipment, and following safety procedures. Qualifications require reading/writing English, valid Alabama driver’s license, Operator Qualification certifications, and passing a DOT drug screen and background check.
