Job Summary
The Program Instructor will work with the Program Coordinator on the presentation of the curriculum, teach lecture and lab content, and coordinate clinical training and supervision of course participants, including supervising students on units during their clinical experience; requires RN with 2+ years of nursing experience (including 1 year in long-term care); experience teaching adults or completing a course in adult education; strong communication, leadership and training skills; ability to collaborate in a clinical education environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Registered Nurse with at least two (2) years of nursing experience, including a minimum of one (1) year in a long-term care setting
- Must have experience teaching adults, supervising nurse aides, or have completed a course in adult education
- Strong communication, leadership, and training skills preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively in a clinical education environment
