Job Summary
NATO BMD Senior Test Engineer needed to join Leidos’ I&T team in The Hague, Netherlands. Participate in test verification activities, exercises, and integration test bed operations for the NATO BMD SEIT contract. Lead and perform project test and exercise activities under the Engineering Lead, coordinate schedules, estimate test efforts, engage with stakeholders, and generate documentation in UK English. On-site work in The Hague with ~20% travel. Strong emphasis on systems engineering tests, test plans/cases, and proficiency with COTS/GOTS C2 tools and STANAG standards; effective collaboration with multinational stakeholders and ability to communicate readiness statuses and mission results to Customers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering/technical discipline with 15 years’ experience OR Master’s degree with 12 years’ experience
- Active NATO Secret level security clearance (Top Secret preferred)
- Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written) in UK English
- Experience in verification of communication requirements such as JREAP, Link-16, DIS, HLA
- Experience developing test plans, test cases, architectures, and procedures; conducting tests and analyzing results
- Deep knowledge of STANAG 5516, 5518, 5522, and APP 11 (E)
- Experience with COTS/GOTS C2 systems and tools (e.g., TDACS, LMMT, NSITE, JRE)
- Ability to lead and contribute effectively in small technical teams
- Willingness to travel ~20%
- Understanding of NATO BMD architecture and operational test activities (desired)
- Experience configuring operational networks supporting BMD/IAMD events (desired)
- Knowledge of WAN/LAN, voice, and SATCOM on operational architectures (desired)
- JT-101/102/201 courses and development of OPTASKLINKs (desired)
- Experience with Jira, TestRail, and Wireshark (desired)
