Job Summary
Navajo Language and Culture Kindergarten/Preschool Teacher in a public charter school, teaching Pre-K to Kindergarten with a focus on Navajo language and culture; responsibilities include preparing yearly instructional maps and daily lesson plans, collaborating with fellow teachers to support Navajo language across classrooms, selecting and implementing instructional methods, evaluating student progress via tests and assessments, promoting positive self-image and student rapport, ensuring safety and welfare, and maintaining classroom discipline; requires an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree with 3 years elementary teaching experience, valid NM teaching licensure with Level II or 520 endorsement, and a driver’s license, with strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
