Job Summary
Conduct pharmacy operations under direct supervision by managing prescription triage, dispensing, and delivery while ensuring every medication is verified by a pharmacist prior to release. Execute pharmacy management and POS systems for daily standards, including cash register duties, data entry, adjudication workflows, and third-party claim submissions. Maintain inventory integrity through ordering, receiving, cycle counting, and processing returns for expired stock, while locating and filing manual records. Adhere strictly to HIPAA compliance, state and federal regulations, and all mandatory training programs.
Required Qualifications
- PTCB or other nationally recognized certification program
- Required (Vermont Employees only): Registered with the State of Vermont as a Pharmacy Technician
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred: AS Degree or Higher
- Preferred hospital or retail pharmacy experience preferred
