Job Summary
National Training, Third-Party Manager for Zip Water NA oversees and optimizes national technical support operations, manages phone/video support for installation and technical needs, coordinates refurbishment and inventory programs, and leads internal and third-party technician training initiatives. Responsibilities include designing and delivering service training programs (virtual and onsite) for internal teams, training on service procedures and policy updates, developing customer service capabilities, identifying/onboarding third-party service providers, training partners to meet certification requirements, managing dispatching, routing, and workload distribution for third-party partners, overseeing parts distribution and inventory, ensuring Salesforce work-order documentation and PPW accuracy, and maintaining vendor performance reviews and KPIs. The role acts as the POC for third-party operations, supports service-channel scalability, and aligns service strategy for high-value commercial and residential coverage via third-party networks. Required qualifications emphasize an associate degree or equivalent, 3-5 years in relevant industries, mandatory prior people management experience, 25% travel, certifications (IOAST, NASTEC, HVAC-related diplomas/certifications) preferred, and proven experience in training, field service networks, and vendor management.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree or equivalent years of experience
- 3-5 years’ experience in the appliance, coffee machine or HVAC industries would be highly regarded
- Previous people management experience a must
- Ability to travel 25%
- Quantifiable field service experience with excellent presentation, communication, customer relationship skills, and classroom instructor or trainer experience and skills
- Demonstrated experience building and managing third-party networks or field service partners
