Job Summary
Perform installations, inspections, verification, corrective and preventive maintenance to ensure successful product service; investigate, analyze, and manage escalated cases while resolving product issues through detailed technical analysis. Maintain and submit technical records per regulatory requirements, drive continuous skill development for regional teams, and lead new product introductions via soft launch programs. Act as a contact for Product Support Engineers regarding feedback and improvements, participate in technical training delivery, and coordinate expert resources for installation or service activities. Responsible for escalated case support including troubleshooting and remote support, mentoring the team, and conducting performance reviews. Requires 50% domestic travel, a B.S. in relevant engineering fields, and one year of experience in engineering or field service with medical devices.
Required Qualifications
- Home worksite (must be based in Mountain or Pacific time zone)
- 50% domestic travel
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Information Management
- 1 year experience in engineering or field service related functions with medical devices
- 1 years experience with medical linear accelerator or microwave RF systems and computer networks
- 1 years experience with applying engineering principles such as electrical, mechanical, and biomedical to troubleshooting without complete technical documentation
- 1 years experience with test equipment and hand tools including oscilloscopes and multi-meters
- Covid-19 vaccination, including applicable booster(s), is required if the position requires onsite presence at Brainlab customer sites in compliance with Presidential Executive Orders
