National Sr. Corporate Relations Accounts Lead

Job Summary
Develop strategic business relationships with national companies to secure 7- to 8-figure funding and build a diverse portfolio of accounts targeting an annual revenue of $8 million+. Represent the Heart Association with executives from global and national companies headquartered in the Southwest region while leading multi-year strategic account planning and proposal development. Collaborate with regional leadership and volunteers to prospect for new business, manage contract negotiations, and ensure donor information security. Operate in accordance with fiscal standards and laws, reporting campaign progress through established management tools. Requires 5+ years of sales experience, 50% travel including overnight stays, and a Bachelor's degree.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Business, Management or related field
- Five (5) or more years of successful sales experience, particularly in selling intangible programs and services, along with the ability to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies
- Five (5) or more years of experience in negotiation and solution-oriented problem-solving
- Five (5) or more years of experience developing and delivering presentations to both large and small groups
- Comprehensive ability to prepare written and oral communications including thorough knowledge and command of business English
- Ability to consult and interact with high level executives
- Must be able to travel at least 50% of time, including overnight stays
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in corporate sponsorship sales greater than $500,000
- Experience in contract negotiation and non-profit fundraising execution
