National Sales Manager - TURBAIR Vacuum Systems

Job Summary

Lead strategic sales and business development for TURBAIR Vacuum Systems across new equipment, aftermarket services, and product support within a designated territory. Drive early-stage client engagement through consultative selling and solution positioning, manage commercial negotiations, and develop tailored sales proposals. Focus on targeted applications in pulp and paper, power generation, and industrial sectors while expanding the portfolio of turbo machinery solutions. Build and nurture strategic customer relationships, represent the company at industry events, and deliver product training. Share project, product, and market insights with global teams, monitor competitive positioning, and relay feedback for continuous improvement. Maintain deep product knowledge through ongoing education and travel internationally to support global engagements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent scientific discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, sales, application engineering, project engineering, or project management related to complex engineer-to-order equipment
  • Proven ability to work effectively across diverse cultures and nationalities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in PC applications including SAP, Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM systems
  • Fluency in a second language
  • Candidates must reside in one of the following states: Texas, Florida, California, Washington State, Ohio, Virginia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Louisiana, Delaware, Oklahoma or Pennsylvania
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel internationally as needed
  • Skilled in interpreting technical documents, safety procedures, specifications, and legal contracts
  • Capable of designing and delivering impactful presentations tailored to customer needs
  • Comfortable speaking in front of groups, including customers and internal teams
  • Adept at solving practical challenges and navigating complex scenarios with limited standardization
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions presented in various formats—written, verbal, diagrams, or schedules
  • Ability and willingness to travel worldwide on occasion

Desired Qualifications

  • Prior experience with large rotating machinery such as turbo-compressors, blowers, steam turbines, or gas turbines
  • Fluency in a second language preferred—Spanish or German is highly desirable
