National Road Logistics Tender and Pricing Manager

Job Summary
Lead RFQs, RFPs, and tenders while developing pricing models, rate cards, and costing structures for road logistics solutions. Collaborate with Operations, Sales, and Key Account Management to validate costs, capacity, and service feasibility, ensuring timely submissions and compliance with pricing governance. Prepare commercial discussions and negotiate with customers to drive profitable growth, analyzing margins and volumes to meet financial targets. Formulate pricing strategies based on market trends and competitor activity to support new business expansion. This role involves approximately 10% domestic and international travel.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience in road logistics
- Strong experience in pricing, tender management or commercial management
- Experience within a freight forwarding, transport or logistics environment
- A solid understanding of road transportation costs, pricing structures and profitability
- Experience managing RFQs, RFPs and complex customer tenders from initial request through to submission
- Strong commercial and analytical skills
- Ability to assess costs, margins and business opportunities
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Confidence to work across Sales, Operations, Procurement and Key Account Management
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Experience engaging with customers, carriers and subcontractors
- A proactive and structured approach
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and priorities while meeting deadlines
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Confidence to challenge existing processes and identify better ways of working
- Approximately 10% domestic and international travel
Desired Qualifications
- Ideally within a freight forwarding, transport or logistics environment
- Knowledge of GCC border procedures and customs requirements
- Practical experience in cross-border road transportation across the region
