Job Summary

Area GBV/PSEAH Analyst coordinates GBV and PSEAH interventions within the Herat Area, providing technical and programmatic support, field coordination, partner oversight, safeguarding implementation, survivor-centered services, and development of safe reporting and referral pathways. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with UNFPA standards, integration of GBV risk mitigation across programming, representation in sub-national coordination forums, monitoring and data tracking, and contributing to inter-agency coordination and resource mobilization. Requirements include an advanced degree and 2+ years of GBV/protection experience, fluency in English and Dari and/or Pashto, and humanitarian/NGO experience. Afghanistan nationals only are encouraged to apply.

Required Qualifications

  • Advanced university degree in sociology, anthropology, social sciences, women’s studies, public health, public administration, international relations, international development, law or other related fields
