Job Summary
The Programme Analyst, Youth leads design, coordination and oversight of UNFPA’s youth portfolio, ensuring integration of youth-focused interventions across health, protection and resilience programming, including oversight of UNFPA-supported Youth Centres. Oversees technical guidance, monitoring of partners, development of workplans and donor reporting, and strengthens partnerships with authorities, youth networks and civil society to advance adolescent health, protection and wellbeing within Afghanistan.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced university degree in gender studies, youth development, international development, and/or other related social science fields is required.
- At least 2 years of increasingly responsible professional experience in development or humanitarian programming is required.
- Languages: Fluency in English and Dari and/or Pashto is required.
