Job Summary
National Accounts Executive to drive strategic growth with Fortune 1000/national manufacturers; remote in Texas. Develop and execute account plans to expand relationships across multiple plants, divisions, and geographic regions, converting regional relationships into enterprise-wide national accounts. Sell packaging materials, packaging equipment, and contract packaging services; build executive-level relationships with procurement, operations, engineering, and manufacturing leadership. Lead full sales cycle from identification to long-term account development; collaborate with operations, engineering, and supplier partners; conduct virtual meetings and travel across the United States. Requires 5+ years packaging sales experience, ability to manage multi-site enterprise deals, and strong consultative selling, negotiation, and presentation skills; travel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent industry experience will be considered
- Minimum of 5+ years of successful packaging sales experience with a strong emphasis on strategic account development and national account management
- Proven ability to expand existing relationships within large organizations and close enterprise-level agreements
- Experience selling packaging materials, packaging equipment, and/or contract packaging services
- Demonstrated success working with large manufacturing customers and multi-site organizations
- Strong business acumen with the ability to engage executive leadership and procurement teams
- Exceptional consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders
- Ability to travel as needed
