Job Summary
The National Manager of Ag Lending at CGB leads and manages a team of sales officers to achieve business goals through coaching, optimizing performance, and developing external relationships. Responsibilities include driving sales growth, establishing annual loan/lease goals, collaborating with leadership for budgeting and planning, and enhancing client satisfaction. The role requires expertise in agricultural lending and the ability to train and develop staff, support marketing efforts, and ensure alignment between sales and organizational goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Marketing, Business, Finance or related field or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- 5 years’ sales and/or sales management experience; experience in agriculture (personal or professional)
Desired Qualifications
- Excellent understanding of Farmer Mac, Farm Credit System and Insurance Company markets
- Excellent understanding of secondary market lending arena for agricultural loans
- Proficient computer skills, including working knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Skills to negotiate, mediate, and influence solutions to problems
- Ability to organize and manage multiple projects
- Ability to lead, coach, counsel, and exhibit empathy
