Job Summary
National Lead, Access & Public Affairs - West leads national market access strategy and stakeholder engagement to secure funding for CSL’s products across Canada, with a focus on working with public drug programs, private insurers, and health-system stakeholders. The role involves strategy development and execution for market access, therapeutic leadership, and corporate reputation, negotiating strategic partnerships, developing and implementing stakeholder engagement plans, managing national and provincial negotiations, and coordinating cross-functional teams to translate real-world evidence for payers. The position is ideally based in Alberta or British Columbia, with a remote-work option indicated.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or MBA preferred
- 10+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech market access and stakeholder management experience
- demonstrated payer relationships at national/local levels
- excellence in portfolio and project management
- ability to lead cross-functional teams
- strong written and spoken communication skills
- strong leadership and analytical skills
- deep knowledge of Canadian public and private reimbursement, HTA, and formulary processes
