Job Summary
National Lead, Access & Public Affairs - West responsible for developing and executing national strategic access plans to fund CSL products, shaping an environment that enables timely access, engaging health-system stakeholders, negotiating strategic partnerships, and leading provincial and national negotiations. Lead stakeholder engagement strategy, collaborate with public drug programs, private insurers, and HCPs; manage sponsorships and corporate communications; develop tools for disseminating information to patient communities and payers; align with cross-functional teams to incorporate patient and payer perspectives into brand plans; travel and remote work as required. Based in Alberta or British Columbia preferred; US-based El Paso option with remote work possible.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, health policy, health economics, life sciences or healthcare discipline; MBA preferred
- 10+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience including market access & stakeholders management
- Strong payer relationships at national/local levels
- Experience leading cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of Canadian public and private reimbursement, HTA, and formulary processes
- Independent, proactive project leadership and strategic communication skills
- Budget management and analytical capabilities
- Strong written and spoken communication; leadership capabilities
- Ability to work remotely with cross-functional teams
