National Lead, Access & Public Affairs - West

Job Summary
Lead national and provincial market access initiatives, develop stakeholder engagement strategies, and negotiate partnerships with public and private payers to enable timely patient access. Represent CSL Canada to collaborate with drug programs, insurers, and health-system stakeholders; shape policy and HTA inputs, support product lifecycle planning, and align cross-functional teams to advance market access objectives. Drive corporate reputation through strategic sponsorships and communications, manage annual stakeholder relations plans by therapeutic area, and develop tools for disseminating information to patient communities, drug plans, and other stakeholders. Based in Alberta or British Columbia with a remote, field-based footprint across Western Canada.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in business, health policy, health economics, life sciences or healthcare discipline; MBA preferred
- 10+ years of pharmaceutical / biotech industry experience including experience in market access & stakeholders management
- Demonstrated key payer relationships and accomplishments at the national and local level
- Demonstrated excellence in portfolio management and project management
- Successful experience in leading cross-functional teams
- Strong written and spoken communication skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Financial and analytical skills
- Strong knowledge of Canadian pharmaceutical reimbursement, pricing issues, and HTA trends
- Ability to work independently and take the lead role on assigned projects
