Job Summary
National Lead, Access & Public Affairs - West leads national strategic access plans and stakeholder engagement to drive product market access across Canada, with focus on Alberta or British Columbia. Responsibilities include developing and executing access strategies, negotiating partnerships with public drug programs, payers, and health-system stakeholders, and aligning cross-functional teams to support market access goals and corporate reputation. Requires senior-level leadership, strong payer relationships, expertise in Canadian reimbursement/HTA processes, and ability to manage cross-functional projects and regional advocacy efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in business, health policy, health economics, life sciences or healthcare discipline; MBA preferred
- 10+ years of pharmaceutical / biotech industry experience including experience in market access & stakeholders management
- Demonstrated key payer relationships and accomplishments at the national and local level
- Demonstrated excellence in portfolio management and project management
- Successful experience in leading cross-functional teams
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Strong knowledge of Canadian pharmaceutical reimbursement, pricing issues, and HTA trends
- Ability to work independently and take the lead role on assigned projects
