Job Summary

The National GC Sales Director is responsible for increasing sales and market share by developing relationships and generating leads with potential and existing customers. Key responsibilities include advising the VP of Sales, establishing relationships with General Contractors, negotiating and closing projects, developing bid strategies, leading sales efforts to meet targets, creating business plans, and providing regular pipeline observations. The role requires a strong customer focus, excellent communication skills, technical product knowledge related to Commercial Door/Frame/Hardware, and previous experience in a similar field. Travel for customer visits and trade shows is required.

Required Qualifications

  • Customer focused
  • Availability to travel as needed
  • Ability to multi-task as several projects will be running simultaneously
  • A seasoned background in Commercial Door/Frame/Hardware CSI Division 8 and/or 10 is preferred

Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent written and oral communication/presentation abilities
  • Strong technical product knowledge & sales skills in Commercial Door/Frame/Hardware CSI Division 8 and/or 10
  • Experience with MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Comsense
