Job Summary
National Field System Engineer (FSE) responsible for on-site installation, preventive and corrective maintenance, and routine maintenance for bioMérieux customers within the US, including travel and overnight support. Key duties include installing and servicing instruments, troubleshooting to the board or subassembly level, building customer relationships, coordinating with dispatch and regional leadership, supporting revenue objectives, maintaining service documentation and quality checklists, and participating in product feedback, trade shows, and continued skills development. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronic Technology, Computer Science, Biomedical or related discipline (or 6+ years of equivalent experience) and 2+ years of related troubleshooting/repair experience; valid driver’s license; willingness to travel extensively (domestic with overnight travel). Also supports sales, applications, marketing, and customer service teams to enhance customer experience and product performance, while adhering to quality procedures and company standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Engineering, Electronic Technology, Computer Science, Biomedical or other related discipline
- 2+ years of professional related experience in troubleshooting and/or repair of complex electro-mechanical, electronic, computer, electrical systems in commercial, industrial, or military setting
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license in state of residence
