Job Summary
Conduct a diagnostic review of BIMx's Business Plan and institutional context to assess entry points for gender mainstreaming, inclusion, and sustainability. Advise on drafting a gender-sensitive business development strategy that embeds financial inclusion and ESG dimensions, aligning with national and EU frameworks. Support validation with management, board, and stakeholders to finalize the document and present it at the Board meeting. Develop a market attraction plan, promotional materials, and a KPI tracking tool to engage prospective issuers and investors, aiming for at least four listed companies by December 2026. Provide monthly advisory touchpoints to BIMx management and facilitate connections with peer regional exchanges. Deliverables are due between September and December 2026. This home-based consultancy supports UN Women's mission to advance women's economic empowerment through inclusive capital market development.
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of capital market instruments, regulation, and institutional development
- Ability to translate complex concepts into clear strategic directions and practical measures
- Proven experience in providing advisory support to financial sector institutions, including exchanges, regulators, banks, or non-bank financial institutions, on strategy, governance, and market development
- Ability to engage diverse stakeholders and foster consensus, including regulators, issuers, investors, development partners, and women's business networks
- Demonstrated capacity to assess institutional needs identify gaps, and customize strategic recommendations to align with institutional objectives, and the national capital market development agenda

- Strong facilitation and communication skills, including the ability to effectively moderate consultations and validation sessions, manage stakeholder dynamics, and respond to questions and challenges
