Job Summary
National Environmental Finance Analyst (Thailand) supports BIOFIN in planning, design, and implementation of biodiversity finance solutions. Responsibilities include contributing to the National Biodiversity Finance Plan (NBFP) development and reviews, leading end-to-end planning and execution of finance solutions, collaborating with government counterparts to tailor climate- and biodiversity-focused finance initiatives, fostering strategic partnerships with government, private sector, civil society, academia, and consultants, preparing key project documents (terms of reference, multi-year workplans, M&E frameworks, indicators), reviewing feasibility studies and policy briefs, participating in field missions and stakeholder engagements, developing knowledge materials, and ensuring gender equality and sustainable livelihoods considerations are integrated. Requires advanced degree and 2+ years (master) or 4+ years (bachelor) of relevant experience; fluency in English and Thai.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced university degree (master's degree or equivalent) in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Political Science, Environmental Science, or any other related fields on Environment and Finance is required. OR A first-level university degree (bachelor’s degree) in the areas above, combination with an additional two years of qualifying experience will be given due consideration in lieu of the advanced university degree.
