National Director of Purchasing

Job Summary
Direct and oversee the national purchasing team to ensure cost-effective use of procurement dollars across all company segments. Develop, integrate, and monitor companywide purchasing procedures while establishing vendor relationships that provide service, quality, and value. Negotiate vendor agreements leveraging companywide purchasing power to create sourcing strategies, ensuring compliance and timely delivery of products and services. Manage vendor/supplier relationships, administer agreements, and oversee special payment requests to accounts payable. Provide guidance to the nationwide team on materials, vendors, and costs, partnering with finance for routine audits. Requires 10+ years of purchasing experience, some travel, and a Bachelor's degree.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in purchasing in a production and/or manufacturing environment, 5 of which in a senior management role
- Working knowledge of exhibit industry
- Knowledge of production resources, materials and tooling/equipment
- Ability to manage and oversee multiple assignments in a dynamic, fast paced environment
- Strong organizational, time management and negotiation/communication skills
- PC skills, Microsoft Office Suite & experience with ERP/procurement software and systems
- Some travel
