Job Summary
Define and maintain the Medical Expert universe across Tier 1, Tier 2, and Rising Stars in partnership with key stakeholders. Conduct and orchestrate cross-functional 1:1 engagements with high-value experts to gain insights on market dynamics, competitive landscape, and tactical execution. Develop advisory board and consultancy submissions while collaborating with Medical Affairs to deploy experts against specific market needs. Schedule and execute site visits, leadership engagements, and immersion days. Serve as the primary point of contact between the Medical Expert universe and Novartis to direct experts to appropriate teams. Collaborate on the format and delivery of commercial educational programs, acting as moderator or faculty for activities like Peer Exchange Programs. Support identification and approval of commercial engagement at regional and national congresses, representing Novartis at state society meetings and other events.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- At least 7 years of Thought Leader Liaison (TLL), Account Management or related experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience in assigned disease area
- Strong working knowledge of thought leaders, institutions, and systems in this space
- Strong knowledge of healthcare and/or pharmaceutical industry
- Proven ability to develop productive relationships with physicians and other Healthcare Professionals
- Strong analytical skills
- Presentation skills
- Ability to think creatively and conceptually
- Ability to develop and execute key strategies
- Financial/budgetary experience
- This position can be based remotely anywhere in the U.S.
- The expectation of working hours and travel (domestic and/or international) will be defined by the hiring manager
- This role would not provide relocation
Desired Qualifications
- MBA or Advanced degree
- At least 2 years of line management/people management experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience in assigned disease area preferred
