Job Summary
Define and maintain the Medical Expert universe across Tier 1, Tier 2, and Rising Stars, partnering with stakeholders to shape business strategy and brand positioning. Conduct cross-functional 1:1 engagements with high-value experts to gain insights on market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and product profiles that inform marketing strategy and tactical execution. Develop advisory board submissions, collaborate with Medical Affairs to deploy experts for specific market needs, and schedule site visits, executive engagements, and immersion days. Serve as the primary point of contact directing experts to appropriate teams, moderate educational activities like Peer Exchange Programs, and support identification of commercial engagements at regional and national congresses. This highly visible national leadership role requires exceptional strategic presence and collaboration across Marketing, Medical, Advocacy, and Compliance teams to drive organizational impact.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- At least 7 years of Thought Leader Liaison (TLL), Account Management or related experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience in assigned disease area preferred, but required in Specialty Sales
- Strong working knowledge of thought leaders, institutions, and systems in this space
- Strong knowledge of healthcare and/or pharmaceutical industry
- Proven ability to develop productive relationships with physicians and other Healthcare Professionals
- Strong analytical skills
- Presentation skills
- Ability to think creatively and conceptually
- Ability to develop and execute key strategies
- Financial/budgetary experience
- This position can be based remotely anywhere in the U.S. (there may be some restrictions based on legal entity)
- The expectation of working hours and travel (domestic and/or international) will be defined by the hiring manager
- Please note that this role would not provide relocation as a result
Desired Qualifications
- MBA or Advanced degree preferred
- At least 2 years of line management/people management experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience in assigned disease area preferred
