Job Summary
Define and maintain the Medical Expert (ME) universe, including Tier 1, Tier 2, and Rising Stars, in partnership with key stakeholders. Conduct cross-functional 1:1 engagements with high-value MEs to gather insights on market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and product profiles that inform marketing strategy. Develop advisory board submissions, deploy MEs for specific market situations, and schedule site visits or executive engagements. Collaborate on commercial educational programs, serve as faculty for Peer Exchange Programs, and support identification of engagement opportunities at regional conferences. Execute a cohesive national and regional congress engagement plan while directing MEs to appropriate Novartis teams for follow-up. Provide oversight on brand materials, deliver business reviews to senior leadership, and ensure execution against key performance indicators.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- At least 7 years of Thought Leader Liaison (TLL), Account Management or related experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience in assigned disease area preferred, but required in Specialty Sales
- Strong working knowledge of thought leaders, institutions, and systems in this space
- Strong knowledge of healthcare and/or pharmaceutical industry
- Proven ability to develop productive relationships with physicians and other Healthcare Professionals
- Strong analytical skills
- Presentation skills
- Ability to think creatively and conceptually
- Ability to develop and execute key strategies
- Financial/budgetary experience
- Must be able to work remotely anywhere in the U.S. (with potential restrictions based on legal entity)
- Must be available for domestic and/or international travel as defined by the hiring manager
Desired Qualifications
- MBA or Advanced degree
- At least 2 years of line management/people management experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience in assigned disease area (for Specialty Sales roles)
